Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Specialist to join our team in rural South Australia. The position offers a challenging and rewarding experience, working as a full-time Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar/Principal House Officer at the largest hospital in the region.

About the Hospital:

The hospital is a teaching institution and a work-based assessment facility, attracting junior doctors from around the world. It provides specialist services to a population of approximately 95,000 people and is the referral hospital for the region. The hospital's facilities include obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, day and inpatient surgery, anaesthetics, accident and emergency, community health, Aboriginal health, aged care services, and many other specialty areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as a full-time Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar/Principal House Officer
  • Provide high-quality clinical and non-clinical services to patients
  • Develop your skills and expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • General, Provisional or Limited registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain
  • Completed AMC MCQ (Part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (Clinical Exam)
  • Experience working as an O&G Registrar
