**Role Details**:
- Lead and manage the planning, design, resourcing and delivery of major projects and work programs to achieve the strategic objectives of the Libraries Board of South Australia.
- Ensure that the One Card 2.0 Collection Reform Program meets the needs of the Libraries Board, identifying and leading critical work packages that achieve state wide collection management reform.
- Initiate, lead and manage engagement with key stakeholders and emerging partners to develop further opportunities and promote and advocate the Libraries Board’s strategic vision and the outcomes and benefits for the South Australian community.
- Manage the One Card 2.0 project management office and a portfolio of strategic projects in accordance with established project management methodologies, providing leadership and support to staff and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure their ongoing engagement and confidence in project outcomes.
- Lead the design, planning and implementation of a strategic project to improve efficiencies, quality, and sustainability in the provision of family and local history services through the State Library and the South Australian Public Library Network.
- Build and sustain strong enthusiasm for a collaborative and integrated approach to local and family history engagement, promoting an understanding of the strategic vision of the Libraries Board and the outcomes and benefits for library stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice on future directions, including emerging issues and trends in library services, the development of cultural experiences and approaches for the promotion, discovery, access and use of significant collections.
**Special Conditions**:
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
