**Your new company**

They are looking for a motivated, proactive Maintenance Planning Officer to join the Road Construction and Maintenance department. Providing field and administrative support to develop and manage maintenance programs across all road and drainage infrastructure is the main objective of the department.

**Your new role**

As a Maintenance planning officer, you will work closely with the Maintenance Engineer to develop comprehensive asset maintenance programs across the city. In addition, you will identify proactive and reactive works, and provide technical direction and support. Lastly, you will investigate and resolve maintenance complaints and enquiries, inspect and report on completed maintenance works.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your ability to acquire proficiency in the use of computer-based maintenance management systems will be advantageous. Furthermore, you have knowledge of the principles and practices involved in Road Maintenance operations.

Below are other criteria that will make you successful:

- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate positive outcomes.
- Certificate IV in Construction, Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualifications would be highly regarded.
- 0215 QLD- General Safety Induction Card (also known as White Card)
- Current 'C' Class drivers' licence.
