We are currently looking for a Food Process Worker who ideally has previous experience within the food industry. However, we would be equally happy to train an applicant who would like to join the food industry.

**About The Company**

We are an award-winning Ice Cream manufacturer with 25 years' experience in the industry. Our boutique products are supplied to SEQ, interstate and international markets. The company is looking for operators to assist with all aspects of the ice cream manufacturing process, from pasteurising of mixes to batch churning of finished ice cream, to packing and storage.

**What’s the role?**
- Operating batch-type pasteurising and continuous ice cream churning equipment.
- Following recipes - weighing and preparing raw ingredients
- Following HACCP requirements
- Pre and post cleaning of equipment
- Recording of data for production records
- Assistance with packing of products and warehouse duties.

**What we are looking for**:

- Work within a fast paced and refrigerated manufacturing environment
- Ability to undertake manual tasks, including heavy lifting as and when required.
- Initiative and focus on hygiene and following safe work practices
- Ability to work alone or as part of small team
- Strong work ethic that includes reliability and honesty
- Own reliable transport would be preferable
- Previous experience in a similar role with an understanding of HACCP requirements would be an advantage

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

- Day shift

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Virginia, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
