As the National Clinical Applications and Product Support (NCAPS) Specialist for Ventilation and Anaesthesia, you will Support the Sales team in achieving maximum product sales and profitability by effectively running in-house and on-line training sessions on Getinge Critical Care Products. You will provide exceptional levels of end-user training and clinical support in health care organisations across Australia and New Zealand. Your product expertise and teaching talents will be instrumental in achieving customer satisfaction which in turn will lead to sales growth in the portfolios across Australia and New Zealand.
You will work closely with the National Sales Manager, ANZ and Sales Account Managers to optimize the team's product knowledge and ensure customer education and satisfaction goals are met. You will also provide expert advice on product configurations to best address sales opportunities, such as tenders and quotations. As a key liaison between the local sales and service unit (SSU) and global business unit (BU), you will be responsible for facilitating communication and promoting a shared understanding of new and existing products/solutions within the business unit. This involves providing clinical expertise and insight to both the SSU and BU teams, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions related to product development and sales strategies.
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Ventilation and Anaesthesia product expert in ANZ for customers, Getinge team-members and with respect to the competition.
- Performs clinical training and workshops both internally i.e. peer to peer and externally to both new and existing customers. Undertakes or assists with product demonstrations, trials and installations to customers where applicable in conjunction with the Account Managers.
- Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, simulation, whiteboards, manuals, virtual) to keep all customers abreast of the latest product information and technological developments as well as current items of interest within the industry.
- Contributes ideas and suggestions for cost-effective training opportunities and programs at the different stages of a customer’s buying journey for the portfolio of products. For example, pre-sales, immediate post-installation, training of new customer staff, in-service education, workshops, etc.
- Coordinate or deliver professional, high-quality product training for both new and established sales and product marketing team-members in accordance with Global SOP’s - remotely or face-to-face, as required
- Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel
- NCAPS Specialists will be required to travel within ANZ to undertake this position - approx. 25%.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Clinical background within the area of Critical Care or Operating Theatre
- Ability to work under pressure with a high level of organisational capabilities
- Specialised training and knowledge in the areas of Critical Care or Operating Theatre
- Ability to motivate and influence people. Strong Impact and presence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, integrity and values aligned with Getinge core values.
- High level of empathy and sensitivity to patients, residents and staff in health and medical settings.
