**The Role**
We are seeking a dedicated Suspicious Matter Reporting Administrator to enhance the service delivery of all formal reporting of Financial Crime events (Suspicious Matter Reports) to our clients and internal stakeholders. This role demands a strong focus on the operational aspects of acceptance, evidence gathering, and the allocation of high-risk investigations. Success in this position requires exceptional operational reporting, process knowledge, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships across the business and with our clients is essential for the successful execution of daily tasks.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties regarding ongoing and historical investigations.
- Perform key operational tasks, focusing on the triage, acceptance, and provision of suspicious matter cases.
- Support the development of a risk and fraud management culture and implement strategies to effectively limit risk exposure and mitigate fraud.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, including the mitigation of operational risk and adherence to AML processes through the effective use of the incident and SMR management framework.
- Deliver clear and concise investigation documentation, maintain organized folder structures, and gather evidence meticulously.
- Implement and embed Service Excellence initiatives to enhance the quality, performance, and efficiency of our teams, thereby facilitating best practices in fraud mitigation and client reporting.

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Crimes or Risk management environments.
- A formal tertiary qualification in fraud, risk, or related disciplines is highly valued.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with an aptitude for adapting communication styles to suit diverse audiences.
- Expertise in building robust customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions, with a strong customer focus and strategic mindset.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, employing rigorous methodologies.
- Ability to set clear objectives, take accountability for actions, and hold others accountable to meet commitments.
- Proficient in understanding and managing operational risks effectively.
