We’re looking for a Claims Advisor to join our Sydney or Newcastle team on a** 12-month contract** basis. The purpose of this role is to provide a superior level of customer service and proactive management of a portfolio of CTP Claims in accordance with legislative, regulatory & procedural guidelines, in order to achieve cost effective and timely claim outcomes.

**What you’ll do**:
- Obtaining and reviewing medical, financial, investigative and rehabilitation reports to assist in the accurate assessment of individual CTP claims
- Ensuring legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with ongoing review of medical, financial investigative and rehabilitation reports
- Adopting appropriate strategies are observed to resolve claims cost effectively
- Ensuring early access to appropriate rehabilitation so that injured claimants can achieve optimal recovery from their injuries
- Providing an excellent level of customer service to the legislative authority, employers and injured workers through compliance with legislation, timely response times and efficiency in processing
**What you’ll bring**:
- Previous CTP Claims or personal injury claims experience with a track record for delivering results
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer
- Allied Health experience would be highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to listen, build rapport, communicate complex information and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders included claimants, third party providers, external bodies and internal teams
- Ability to interpret complex information and respond by developing appropriate actions
- Strong administrative and written skills and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim whilst keeping in the restraints of the NSW legislation
- Strong commitment and a high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectations
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to workplace improvement and changes
