**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3+ Years PQE practising primarily in Construction Litigation with experience in dispute negotiation and insurance law
- Excellent communication skills with a passion to negotiate optimal outcomes
- Attention to detail
- Readily able to manage client expectations, with drive & enthusiasm for excellent client service.
- Reliable under pressure.
- Ability to manage many documents and tasks simultaneously
- Proficient research skills and commercial acumen
- Able to work autonomously, and in a team where necessary.
- Admitted to practice in Queensland
- Experienced in practicing in Queensland

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Supporting clerks and graduates throughout their rotations
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff
- Collaborating with senior practitioners and team members
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of workshops on construction insurance for clients
- Working with coverage counsel
- Corresponding and obtaining instructions from clients
- Day-to-day management of litigation processes including document management, correspondence with opposing counsel and court attendances.
- Provide advice to insurers on cover and construction policies
- Prepare briefs for Counsel Hearings that you will attend
- Manage expert witnesses and reports
- Interview witnesses and prepare drafts of lay witness statements
