Over our 23 years, there’s a lot that we have been proud to achieve, the biggest being that we’ve helped over 455,000 Australians achieve all sorts of goals with the support of our ever-expanding lending options. **The Role** Reporting to the General Manager - Asset Finance, the **Head of Credit and Settlements - Asset Finance** is integral in ensuring the credit and settlements function provides optimal service and products to our Introducers to deliver the best outcome for our mutual customers. **Your responsibilities will include**: - Lead and manage an integrated credit, settlements and support function across ANZ and Manila for all customers and products of the Asset Finance department; - Collaborate with the Asset Finance Leadership Team to collectively deliver Asset Finance goals and objectives; - Deliver credit, settlement and other processes and functions in accordance with agreed service levels and policy and procedure; - Develop strategies to continuously improve systems, processes, policies and reporting that deliver to the Asset Finance strategy. **About you** **To be successful in this role, you’ll possess**: - Minimum 10 years strategic, operational and people leadership experience in a medium scale customer service and/or volume transaction processing function within financial services - Minimum 10 years’ experience in consumer and commercial retail credit (including specialist lending). - Experience includes exercising a delegated lending authority > $2 million and leading managers who also manage delegated authorities. - Extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment (including NCCP, RG209 Responsible Lending, AML/ CTF) - 5 years being a Responsible Manager - A degree in Business, Accounting or other relevant discipline - Experience with regulators and the relevant regulatory environment is desirable - Demonstrated experience in working with or managing credit risk scorecard and automation of credit & settlement processes is desirable The way we work together is just as important as your experience.
