**Your responsibilities will include**:
As a Warehouse Officer, your responsibilities will incorporate Defence warehouse and inventory operations complying with Commonwealth Governance polices, aeronautical product management and control.
The primary focus of this role will include (not limited to):
- Ensuring stock is securely packed and stowed
- Receipt, storage and dispatch
- Handling and shipping of Dangerous Goods (as applicable)
- Accurate management of records
- Stock interpretation and discrepancy initiation and investigation
- Identification of stocks/freight
- Operation of Material handling equipment
- Loading of freight
- Rotating roster with shift requirements, ability to be on call
**About you**:
You will have proven experience within a similar role, ideally within a defence environment, also holding Tertiary qualifications (Certificate III or above) in a relevant discipline (Transport and Distribution etc.) from a recognised institution and/or equivalent relevant experience.
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Experience within a warehousing position
- Proficiency with Warehouse Databases
- Prior experience in Issue, Storage, receipting and Shipping functions
- Computer literacy with an ability to produce and interpret complex reports and information
- Ideally you will also have Forklift/High Risk Work licence and experience using SAP and CAMM2
**Special Requirements**:
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
