Provide administrative support across a legal team within Federal Government
**Your new company**
This Federal Government department is an Independent Department focused on providing a fair and just Australia. They are seeking an experienced administrator to join them on a temporary assignment which has potential for extension.
**Your new role**
Working with the Administrative Support Team, you will provide a range of general and specialist administrative support services for a team of 20 professionals. Tasks will involve case administration, case preparation and witness coordination. You will prepare legal documents, coordinate stakeholders, manage records, filing and data entry. You will also be engaging in project research, organise teleconferencing and respond to enquiries from the public.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience providing tailored administrative support for a group of people
- The ability to work towards deadlines in a busy office
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience providing legal administration is highly desired
