**Join Our Team as a SIL Coordinator at Optimal Care**

**Position: SIL Coordinator**
**Location: On-site**
**Employment Type: Full-time**
**Salary: $70,000 per year**
**Schedule: 8-hour shifts**

**Who We Are Looking For**:
**Your New Role**:
As the SIL Coordinator, you'll take charge of the daily functions within Optimal Care's Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. Your role is crucial in aiding the planning and implementation of a superior Supported Independent Living service, fostering an environment that offers participants the best opportunities for engagement and a high-quality lifestyle, aligning with their preferences.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership, coordination, and support to the SIL Support workers team.
- Actively supervise all SIL Support workers.
- Conduct induction, training, and orientation for new team members.
- Develop, implement, and manage staff rosters following the SCHADS Award.
- Handle crisis management and ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS).
- Engage in the development, execution, and review of resident support plans.
- Facilitate the provision of daily living support, aligning with residents' goals and NDIS plans.
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships for effective participant support and service delivery.
- Oversee team processes, including participant assessments and team meetings.
- Ensure high-quality administrative tasks across all group homes in compliance with standards.

**What You'll Need**:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience with participant with complex behaviors in a residential setting.
- Desired tertiary qualifications or a minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services, Disabilities, or related fields.
- Skills to support and support workers staff to be innovative, flexible, and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with person-centered approaches to develop and implement tailored support plans.
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Adept at problem-solving with the ability to implement practical solutions.
- Advanced computer literacy, especially with MS Office suite.
- Knowledge and experience in current WHS practices and risk management.
- A current driver's license and Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Recent National Police Checks.
