Location: headspace Western Sydney & Nepean Blue Mountains (based at headspace Penrith)
- Type: Full-time, fixed term until June 2026 (high possibility of extension)
- Hybrid: 1-2 days WFH per week

Are you a skilled leader passionate about driving best practice in mental health recovery services, We’re seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Practice Manager, a key leadership position within Uniting Mental Health & Wellbeing portfolio.
About the Program
headspace Penrith is part of Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention services to young people aged 12-25. Our multidisciplinary team delivers support across mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drugs, and work and study.

Uniting as the lead agency delivers community-based mental health services across NSW, supporting people through person-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused care.
About the Role
As a Practice Manager, you will lead and support frontline teams in delivering high-quality, person-centred, recovery-oriented services. You will champion clinical governance, workforce capability, and service innovation to enhance outcomes for the individuals and communities we serve.
**Your focus will be on**:

- Leading administrative functions across diverse community mental health programs
- Ensuring service excellence aligned with recovery principles, trauma-informed care, and client choice
- Strengthening partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement through practice development and reflective supervision
- Overseeing compliance, risk, and operational effectiveness

About You
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in mental health or community services, and a passion for recovery-oriented, trauma-informed practice. You foster inclusive, high-performing teams and have a clear commitment to quality service delivery.
**You will bring**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services, mental health, or a related field
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working within a clinical governance framework and contributing to service improvement
- Knowledge and experience of Medicare compliance
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- A values-led approach aligned with person-centred and culturally safe care
- Valid Driver’s Licence and willing to travel across Western Sydney region
