**About Us**:
Based in Melbourne with high-end Showrooms in South Yarra, Mornington and Geelong, Kustom Timber delivers end to end turnkey service - a company first for engineered timber flooring specialists in Australia. Treading the industry boards since 2013, it is involved in all facets of the supply, install and preservation of responsibly sourced premium European Oak for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

**About the Role**:
In the role of apprentice, you will work alongside experienced Floor Installers, gaining hands on experience in various aspects of timber flooring installation.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to start their career in the flooring industry

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist experience floor installers in preparation and installation of timber floors.
- Learn and follow proper installation techniques for engineered timber flooring.
- Participate in site assessments and assist in measuring and evaluating areas for flooring installation.
- Help with the preparation of the materials.
- Learn to align patterns and layouts for optimal visual appeal and layout.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work areas.

**About You**:

- Strong interest in learning the flooring installation trade.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced installers.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, and willingness to learn how to safely use power tools.
