Alutech is a local manufacturer of Aluminium security doors and screens and glass windows and doors.

We now require a qualified CNC Machinist.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Trade qualified machinist.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CNC machining experience, Okuma preferred (setting, operating and programming)
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work unsupervised but also be a team player.
- SolidWorks/SolidCAM experience advantageous.
- Programming and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines and or
- Operation of manual lathes and milling machines
- Knowledge of G Codes and C Codes and Fanuc controls

**Responsibilities**:

- Interfacing with various team members to achieve the desired outcomes as outlined by senior management.
- Good understanding of tool selection and manufacturing methods.
- Verifying components to the manufacturing specifications and tolerances (QC).
- Reliable, hardworking with a positive attitude.
- The ability to read and understand technical/manufacturing/engineering drawings & specifications.
- Clear understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
- Proficient in the use and calibration of measuring equipment including Vernier Calipers, Micrometres etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- CNC programming: 1 year (required)

- Australia (required)
