Southbank, Australia Saporito cafe Full time

You will be supervising and managing the front of house operation whilst the owner is there and isn’t there. We are a small team that operate a busy little cafe 7 days a week. A lot of regular customers and locals that know us as a friendly neighbourhood cafe. Reporting to owner.
- Barista skills, latte art skills.
- Must be available weekends
- Must be available to work between 5:30am - 4pm.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
- Customer service and attentiveness skilss
- Reliable, honest and punctual
- Attention to detail. Especially towards hygiene of the venue and towards customers experience
- Developing a close working relationship with Kitchen Management

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to supervise and lead other staff at all times even when the owner is present.
- Stock ordering, rotation and stock control
- Manage weekly rosters and organise staff shifts.
- Assist with creating and establishing procedures for staff task checklists
- Maintain store environment cleanlines, food handling and safety standard at all times
- Oversee & assist with food and beverage preparation
- Maintain a happy and efficient work culture with staff
- Maintain relationships with locals and all guests
- Train new staff all operations of the venue
- Maximise cost spend per customer by upselling and teach staff how to upsell

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
