We are seeking an Estimating Manger with experience procuring diverse demolition and decommissioning projects based in Dry Creek, South Australia.

Reporting to Executive General Manager, and as a member of the senior leadership team, this critical role oversees tendering operations including go/no go decisions and winning strategies, final negotiation, reporting, monitoring, and concluding the tendering activities.

You will have influence on identifying strategic project opportunities, engage in business development to secure work, prepare tender proposals, actively manage project work including quality assurance and contract administration requirements. You will be a dynamic hunter who can deliver on strategy and close a deal.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your role will include, but is not limited to:

- Establish and maintain business development activities, including the discovery of upcoming business opportunities, initiate an early involvement
- Review all the tenders, conduct detailed analysis of opportunities to select and recommend the best opportunities to proceed with
- Commercial, procurement and contract management
- Review contracts during the tendering process, identify and measure risks and opportunities
- Identify and communicate all the commercial risks and opportunities as part of the handover stage from tendering to delivery
- Assist in post-tender negotiations of the contractual terms
- Ensure compliance to McMahon Services legal and commercial requirements
- Ensure legislative and regulatory compliance.
- Work collaboratively with clients in providing ‘best for business’ solutions.

**About You**:

- You will be a dynamic leader who is a “hunter”
- Formal qualifications in Project Management or relevant industry experience
- Ideally formal tertiary and preferably advanced education in Engineering, Finance, or Management
- Hold a current White Card
- Hold a current driver’s license
- Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance
- Demonstrated experience in project management and/or demolition and decommissioning
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of team
- Demonstrate diplomatic, management, and communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders including other implementing agencies
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Proficient in project management suite of software (e.g., Microsoft professional suite, MS Project, Primavera), ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, Oracle e-business) and project management platforms (e.g., InEight, Aconex, Procore)
- Strong safety focus and knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships across all key stakeholders
