**About the Role**

You will be part of the team responsible for the preparation of planning strategies, master planning, planning proposals, amendments to development control plans, contribution plans and other land use planning policies. This will provide you with an opportunity to contribute to a range of strategic planning projects, gain invaluable experience as part of a professional planning team and develop an excellent understanding of the day-to-day operations of Council.

**About You**

As a current undergraduate in Urban, Town Planning or similar and have completed at least one year of study you are keen to start putting your theory into practice You are a team player who is able to commit to a temporary, full-time role until at least mid-January 2025.

In addition, you will also have:

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service focus and have a problem solving approach to planning issues
- Sound PC skills with proven experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and participate in business improvement initiatives

Your commencing annual salary will range from **$68,397 to $71,817 + Superannuation, **dependent on your experience and qualifications.
