**About the Role**:
A key role within the Strategic Marketing and Fundraising Department, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for the communications strategy and day-to-day management of communications targeted at the organisation’s key stakeholders. The position is tasked with the development and ongoing delivery of cohesive communication plans designed to encourage understanding of, and support for, Minda’s strategic objectives and organisational priorities and create a positive change culture.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Manager develop, implement, and evaluate cohesive communications strategies for key projects, event and change initiatives to increase stakeholder engagement
- Identify and implement communications tools and processes that match the needs of various stakeholders to ensure key messages are delivered via the appropriate channels
- Working with the Marketing and Communications Manager on corporate partnership activities and stakeholder engagement as required
- Source and produce creative written, visual and interactive communication solutions incl storytelling, video, audio.
- Assist with providing accurate and timely internal communications advice and support to the different business units.
- Assist with maintaining and copywriting key external communication tools, materials and channels (i.e. website, monthly external e-news, social media, marketing collateral, ads, appeals).
- A degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience in external **and** internal communications.
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing communications plans
- Experience in supporting senior staff on issues relating to internal communications
- Good understanding of CRM platforms and data management
- Demonstrated understanding of communication strategies, as well as reporting.
- A good dose of humour
