Macedon, Australia Macedon Ranges Shire Council Full time

Council’s Facilities Management Unit, which delivers cross-organisational projects throughout the Shire, are looking for a Project Officer to join the team. This position will be responsible for the coordination, supervision and reporting of capital works projects from initiation to completion for existing and future Council assets.

The successful applicant should have must demonstrate experience in project management and contract administration, have outstanding communication skills and a broad knowledge of project delivery processes associated with building works and open space projects.

Whilst a degree or diploma in Project Management, Building Construction or other trade disciplines is preferred, less formal qualifications with experience and enthusiasm to learn and develop is also highly regarded. Certification in PRINCE2 project management or similar will be highly regarded but is not essential.
