The role:
Our client is currently seeking a motivated individual—ideally with experience in lending and administration—to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to business growth while gaining hands-on experience across all areas of the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
Client Service & Data Management
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, brokers, and dealerships (in person, phone, email).
- Provide professional support and respond to loan enquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to help grow business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records across internal systems.
Loan Application & Processing
- Assist clients with loan applications, ensuring suitability and accuracy.
- Conduct credit checks and assess financial histories for responsible lending.
- Submit, track, and follow up on loan applications for efficient processing.
- Prepare loan documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Administration & Accounting Support
- Manage customer account enquiries, payments, balances, and statements.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank transactions.
- Follow up on dishonored payments and conduct debt collection when required.
- Provide backup support across administration and compliance tasks as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Exceptional communication skills, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data entry, with strong computer literacy across relevant systems and software.
- A long-term mindset and commitment to becoming a valued member of the team.
- Solid understanding of financial products, lending procedures, and industry regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance broking or loan processing.
- Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (highly regarded, or willingness to obtain).
- Current Police Check (or ability to obtain one).
