Your opportunity:
Our Operations and Maintenance group have an exciting, permanent opportunity for an experienced Manager Maintenance Program Delivery to join our Maintenance Services team.

The Operations and Maintenance group is dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient supply of water services to our customers through the operation and maintenance of our water, wastewater and resource recovery infrastructure. This group plays a pivotal role in delivering the critical outcomes of ensuring the safety of our people and customers, protecting public health, protecting the environment, ensuring the provision of the services meets the needs of our customers and minimising the cost of these services in the long run. high-quality services to our customers by overseeing a range of critical activities.

The Maintenance Services Group is accountable for the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance on our water, wastewater and resource recovery assets to ensure we meet the performance outcomes for our customers and stakeholders.

Leading a diverse team, the Manager Maintenance Program Delivery is accountable for ensuring that maintenance is efficiently planned, scheduled, and delivered across Urban Utilities asset base by coordinating the maintenance programs. The Manager is responsible for the maintenance program management office and ensuring effective scheduling and dispatch of maintenance work orders, as well as understanding the cost of delivering maintenance The performance of the role will be measured through Urban Utilities critical outcomes to ensure that Urban Utilities provides a safe environment for our people and customers, protects public health, protects the environment, deliver an exceptional customer experience and minimising cost in the long run.

To succeed in the role you will need to:
- Lead improvement initiatives across the maintenance value chain.- Effectively coordinate the maintenance program.- Effectively utilities asset and maintenance data to identify opportunities to improve maintenance programs.- Develop maintenance cost intelligence to inform investment decision making.- Partner with internal and external maintenance delivery partners.- Provide effective governance over maintenance, planning, schedule and dispatch activities- Effectively lead a maintenance program delivery office.

This position forms part of the Maintenance Services Leadership Team reporting directly to the General Manager Maintenance Services.

About you:
- Degree in engineering, science, business, or equivalent experience.- Asset management qualifications or experience (highly regarded).- Proven ability to manage complex programs of work.- Experience in collaborative contracting to achieve customer outcomes.- Proficiency in asset management frameworks/tools such as ISO 55000, PAS 55, IIMM, GIS, Maximo, SAP, or Ellipse.- Understanding of water utility operations and regulatory requirements.- Expertise in developing asset management strategies for complex systems.- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business insights.- Skilled in balancing maintenance, capital, commercial, customer, and performance priorities.- Leadership experience in cross-functional teams delivering critical functions.- Proven success in fostering a safety-focused and collaborative culture.
