Human Resource Systems Analyst

**About this position**

The HR Systems Analyst provides dedicated support for the operation of all HR Technology (HRIS, Payroll, Time and Attendance and miscellaneous) and associated data facilitating workforce management at the YMCA.

Reporting to the HR Technology & Analytics Lead, this position will undertake a central role in the daily administration, maintenance and development of all HR software, including the interpretation and distribution of any related data.

Where otherwise required, this position will support the HR Technology & Analytics Lead in the delivery of any HR/HRT projects; including the configuration, testing and rollout of HR systems, modules and training to support the core functions and teams of the organisation.

**As a HR System Analyst your responsibilities will include**:

- System administration, maintenance and development of positions, job changes, terminations and workflows.
- Development and maintenance of letter templates, recruitment related data, on-boarding process and transactions, performance appraisal templates and route maps.
- Development and maintenance of basic automatic assignment rules governing the LMS.
- Provision of advice pertaining to on system related changes resulting from new or updated business process models.
- Support for the overall accuracy and integrity of employee data
- Support for the design and delivery of all routine and adhoc reporting
- Support for the creation and change of core HR system structure
- Assistance in the design and delivery of mass changes to system data
- Provision of 1st level support for basic maintenance of existing integrations
- Collaborate with IT staff to perform in-cycle platform upgrades of all HRIS as approved by the HR Technology & Analytics Lead.
- Provision of support for 2nd level end user system queries;

**To be successful in obtaining this position at the Y, you must have the following;**
- 3 years’ minimum experience in Human Resource Technology in a medium to large employer
- Proven experience as a HR Systems Analyst or in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated planning and prioritisation skills
- Ability to take initiative, be an analytical and lateral thinker with the desire to implement HR best practice and continually improve the HR model.
- A passionate and enthusiastic HR professional who can work in a team and individually
- National Police Check or willing to obtain one, and International Police Check (if required).

**Desirable but not essential;**
- Bachelor or Human Resources or Information Technology
