**About the role**

Western Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst Medical Officer to support the operational readiness of the New Footscray Hospital, and the Shared Pathology Service across all Western Health campuses.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in digital readiness in a role that directly impacts patient care and operational excellence.

Clinical systems to support the transition Shared Laborayoy Information systesmsis to bridge the gap between clinical practice and digital technology and leverage your understanding of both healthcare workflows and digital systems to optimise the use of technology at Western Health.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Bridge the cap between clinical practice and digital technology through your expertise in the EMR and other digital clinical solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate open communication, ensuring concerns and requirements are well-understood and digital solutions aligns with safe care.
- Assist validation and testing prior to implementation.
- Work with the broader Digital Health change and implementation team to ensure the safe adoption of digital workflows.

**About you**:
You’re a self-starter and problem solver with:

- Current Medical Officer registration with AHPRA.
- At least two years’ clinical experience including acute and sub-acute inpatient and outpatient care.
- Excellent communication and change management skills.
- Proficiency working within a complex team environment.
