**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
- Take and process orders for drinks and food, serving customers promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and the responsible service of alcohol.
- Monitor the bar area for any issues, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests.
- Assist with setting up and closing the bar, including cash handling and balancing.
- Support other team members, contributing to a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Stay up to date with sports events and promotions to engage with customers and enhance the bar experience.
- Manage TAB operations, assist customers with placing bets, and ensure all transactions are handled in accordance with relevant regulations.

**Key Requirements**
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in a bar or customer-facing role, is preferred.
- **Experience handling a TAB** and assisting customers with placing bets.
- A **valid TAB license** (or the ability to obtain one prior to starting).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Pay: $33.38 - $46.73 per hour
