Sports Bar Supervisor

The McKinnon Hotel is a well-established local favourite, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, and premium sports bar experience. We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced **Sports Bar Supervisor** to join our dedicated team and help lead the charge in delivering outstanding service to our patrons.

**The Role**:
As the Sports Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of our sports bar, ensuring high standards of service, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. You’ll be managing a dynamic team and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the sports bar and service area operations
- Lead and mentor a team of bar staff
- Maintain compliance with all relevant licensing and gaming regulations
- Operate and manage TAB services with confidence and accuracy
- Deliver exceptional customer service during busy shifts
- Ensure cleanliness, stock levels, and presentation standards are maintained
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays (shifts up to 1:30am)

**About You**:

- **Minimum 2 years’ experience** in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting
- **TAB experience is essential** with a sound understanding of operations and compliance
- Hold current **RSA** and **RSG** (Victoria) certificates
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team under pressure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster
- Professional, reliable, and passionate about customer service
