**The Role**
Army Aviation System Program Office (AASPO) is undertaking transition of our two platforms being the Multi Role Helicopter (MRH90) and Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) from service. This transition is expected to be complete by approximately 2028 dependent on Government decisions.
AASPO is currently looking for personnel who have experience in US and European export controls and licenses, particularly International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administrative Regulations.

The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace. Applicants engaged into a BDCP position must consider the following. BDCPs provide remuneration in addition to the Defence Enterprise Agreement (EA).

**About our Team**
Army Aviation Systems Program Office (AASPO) is principally responsible for the sustainment of the MRH Taipan and ARH Tiger. AASPO is located in South East Queensland, with offices in Brisbane CBD, Brisbane Airport and Oakey. AASPO is part of the Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB), which in turn is a key Branch within the Joint Aviation Systems Division (JASD) of CASG.

The Commercial Management team is responsible for developing RFTs, and providing advice on complex procurement issues, contract management issues and ITARs. The team also provides Commercial Assurance on Section 23 submissions and co-ordinates Company Scorecard and commercial data for AASPO. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-value, advanced Defence capabilities, whilst being rewarded with a professional, inclusive and supportive team.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Manage international export controls including FMS, ITAR and EAR permissions to ensure certificate of airworthiness (CoA) and US Government obligations are compliant.
- Manage the ADF’s compliance to FMS and other Export Controls frameworks enabling transfer of Technical Data.
- Update Third Party Retransfers (TPR) to ensure continued compliance with export controls.
- Assist in development, assessment and management of Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs).

You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate with a range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

You will have the ability to work flexibly, be self-motivated, possess excellent attention to detail and deliver outcomes according to schedules.
