**The Role**
The APS 6 Multi-Role Helicopter (MRH) Engineering Manager is the principal member of the engineering team overseeing engineering and maintenance products and services undertaken by Army Aviation Systems Program Office’s (AASPO) external Providers.
Additionally, the duties of the APS 6 MRH Engineering Manager include the following:

- Manage governance processes and activities overseeing the engineering and maintenance services and products supplied by external providers.
- Manage governance processes and activities overseeing the engineering for Taipan System configuration management, including preparation for Configuration Control Boards.
- Provide leadership and engineering advice to stakeholders and AASPO staff as a Platform Engineering Manager and CASG engineer for maintenance improvements and configuration management matters.
- Audit external provider execution of engineering and technical services and products.
- Participate in internal engineering training programs and professional development programs.

**About our Team**
AASPO is principally responsible for the sustainment of the MRH Taipan and Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) Tiger. AASPO is located in South East Queensland, with offices in Brisbane CBD and Brisbane Airport. AASPO is part of the Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB), which in turn is a key Branch within the Rotary Aerospace and Surveillance System Division (RASSD) of CASG.
