**About the role**

City of Parramatta is seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt Civil Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our skilled tradespeople in the installation, maintenance, and repair of asphalt surfaces.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist with the installation and repair of asphalt surfaces
- Use hand and power tools to prepare surfaces for asphalt, such as grading and compacting
- Operate equipment such as rollers, pavers, and skid steers
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks
- Follow instructions and complete tasks within a set timeframe
- Ensure worksites are clean and safe
- Report any problems, accidents, or issues to your supervisor in a timely manner

**About You**

Qualifications:

- MR Truck licence is **essential**:

- WHS Industry Certificate (White Card)
- Asbestos awareness
- Powerline awareness
- Possession of current TCR and IMP traffic controller certificates _or the ability and willingness to obtain the certificate prior to confirmation of employment**What’s on offer**

We are offering an attractive salary from $59,078 to $65,055 plus 10.5% superannuation.
