Since 1970, JN has proudly served the construction industry in Australia. In the early years, we operated as a small family business, specialising in structural engineering.

Today, with offices across NSW and Queensland, and around 80 employees, JN is a full-service multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. Our expertise extends across each of the major engineering disciplines, from Building Services to Structural, Civil and a significant number of sub-disciplines, including Traffic engineering, Sustainable engineering and Remedial Work.

As the HR & Learning Coordinator, you will be based in our Sutherland office, and work closely with the Human Resources Manager and QMS & Learning Manager.

You will be responsible for:

- Support the HR Manager and QMS & Learning manager with all general administration.
- Assisting recruitment and onboarding activities
- Providing HR support throughout the whole employee lifecycle
- Playing a key role in the implementation and set up of JN’s new Learning Management System and Competency Management platforms
- Day to day maintenance and administration of the HR and Learning Systems
- Booking internal and external training sessions
- Fostering and promoting a positive work environment and team culture
- Some travel to other offices around Sydney may be required

Your experience will include:

- Ideally minimum two years’ experience in a similar role (or either generalist or learning)
- Completion or studying towards a relevant Human Resources qualification
- Any JobAdder, Employment Hero or Cognology experience would be fabulous
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

We enjoy monthly Accrued Days Off (ADO's) and as voted by the JN Team, we work in the office Monday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility to work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
