**The Role**
The APS 5 Commercial Administration Officer is responsible to the Manager - International Arrangements and is responsible for undertaking the contract administration, and contributing to the effective and efficient management of the International Agreements. The APS 5 Commercial Administration Officer will also ensure compliance with relevant CASG policies and procedures.

Additionally, the duties of the APS 5 Commercial Administration Officer include the following:

- Manage correspondence flows and tasking within AASPO Commercial and International Agreements.
- Administer and manage the extant arrangements in accordance with CASG frameworks and relevant policies.
- Ensure all contracted deliverables are received, technically validated by SMEs and compliant with the requirements of the applicable contract.
- Contribute to the drafting of documentation required for program compliance with CASG governance requirements and the PGPA for new proposals, and existing arrangements.
- Deliver sound commercial advice to program stakeholders on commercial aspects associated with International Agreements.
- Drafting of contractual correspondence for delegate approval.
- Efficient administration of all contract files in the CASG document management system (Objective).
- Engage stakeholders effectively to ensure the Commonwealth’s interests are maintained and optimal outcomes are achieved.
- Draft and deliver responses to letters and correspondence within required time frames.
- Develop and implement process efficiencies, including the production of Standard Operating Procedures for all commercial activities related to collective contracting and international agreements are maintained and relevant.

**About our Team**
Army Aviation Systems Program Office (AASPO) is principally responsible for the sustainment of the MRH Taipan and ARH Tiger.

AASPO is located in South East Queensland, with offices in Brisbane CBD, Brisbane Airport and Oakey. AASPO is part of the Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB), which in turn is a key Branch within the Rotary Aerospace and Surveillance System Division (RASSD) of CASG.

The Commercial Management team is responsible for developing RFTs, and providing advice on complex procurement issues, contract management issues and ITARs. The team also provides Commercial Assurance on Section 23 submissions and co-ordinates Company Scorecard and commercial data for AASPO.
