**The Role**

You will provide executive level administrative support to the
Director General Army Aviation Systems (DGAAS), including but not limited to:

- Managing appointments, diary and meeting arrangements;
- Arranging all aspects of travel both domestic and international in line with Defence policy;
- Coordinating official correspondence for DGAAS consideration.

Additionally, the duties of the APS 4 Executive Assistant include:

- Coordination of task management for the Branch;
- Support day to day administration of DGAAS Office;
- Assist with providing financial support in line with Defence policy, including but not limited to payment of invoices, administration and support of Branch budgeting tool;
- Maintaining records management systems in line with Defence policy.

**About our Team**
Located in Brisbane, as part of Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), the Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) Executive and Support team are critical enablers of Defence capability by supporting our Systems Program Offices (SPO) and Project Offices (PO) in their delivery of military aviation systems to the Australian Army.

The Executive and Support team have overarching responsibility for Branch Business Management achieved through liaison and coordination with the SPOs and POs, with the goal of continuous improvement to processes.

Specifically, the Executive and Support team are able to achieve its core function and organisational goals, on behalf of the branch, through six key service areas including Quality Management, Security, Work Health and Safety, Workforce Management, Reserve Management and Commercial Support.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate the needs of your senior executive officer as well as be flexible and resilient. You will have excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail and excel at building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
