We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapy Manager who is passionate about their work and possesses a strong desire to support the growth of capable leaders. In this role, you will lead our national Occupational Therapy service and our state-based Team Leaders and national Clinical Leads will report to you. **The Role**
As an Occupational Therapy Manager, you will work closely with the Clinical Service Director, Operational Heads of Departments, and other stakeholders in the development of Empower Healthcare’s Occupational Therapy services to take it to the next stage in our growth plan. Managing our services nationally, your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead our national team of Occupational Therapists; state-based Team Leaders and national Clinical Leads report to the Occupational Therapy Manager.
- Accountable for strategic planning and leadership of the Occupational Therapist service to achieve our balanced scorecard measures for quality, financial, efficiency, people, and growth outcomes.
- Provide leadership and direction for the delivery of all OT services nationwide, including the management of staff and resources.
- Contribute to service resign in line with best practice and compliance frameworks.
- Lead changes in work practices and procedures in line with the Occupational Therapy and Clinical Services Strategic Plans.
- Oversee the Occupational Therapy clinical governance frameworks and ensure the appropriate levels of support, training and supervision are available to our therapists.

- Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with AHPRA
- Police Check Clearance
- Consolidated clinical skills as an Occupational Therapist and leadership experience
- Previous experience working in a community setting and sound knowledge of NDIS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
