Based predominantly in Melbourne with availability to travel Nationally as required, this is a role where you will lead with purpose
This role ideally requires flexibility to work 7 days a week, as needed. In return, we also offer flexibility to support your work–life balance. On-call allowance and all other applicable allowances will apply.

What YOU will DO
We are looking for a LEADER, someone who can bring people together and make things happen In this role you will work alongside the CEO, Finance, Talent and a Multi-Disciplinary leadership team to guide and grow our services across Australia. You'll support our teams to deliver quality, person-centered care, while also driving new opportunities and building strong community connections.
- Lead and inspire Daily Living teams through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support, building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
- Conduct meaningful performance reviews and development pathways, helping staff reach their full potential while aligning with LifeFul's values.
- Champion person-centered care, ensuring NDIS plans, participant goals, & preferences, including gender and cultural considerations are at the heart of everything we do.
- Partner with Multi-Disciplinary Teams such as OTs and Behaviour Support Practitioners to implement Behaviour Support Plans, monitor restrictive practices, implement Assistive Technology and Home Modifications, and provide high-quality, hands-on support.
- Be the face of LifeFul in Meet & Greets, client communications, and stakeholder partnerships, creating genuine, trust-filled relationships.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and staff allocation to ensure the right people are in the right place, delivering exceptional support.
- Partner with the Finance Manager to manage budgets, resources, & service requests, making sure every dollar supports safe, high-quality, person-centered care.
- Drive continuous improvement across operations—rostering, resource management, reporting, and compliance—with attention to efficiency, safety, and outcomes.
- Oversee training and development, ensuring staff complete mandatory and role-specific programs, and fostering a learning-focused, supportive team.
- Collaborate on strategic growth, market opportunities, and service expansion, contributing to LifeFul's position as a leading NDIS provider.
- Monitor competitor services, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to inform innovation, service offerings, and LifeFul's market positioning.
- Build strong partnerships with SDA providers, community organisations, and sector networks to enhance participant housing, support options, and outcomes.
- Lead by example and promote best practice and operational excellence in delivering personal care, domestic support, respite, social engagement, transport, and other daily living services.
- Manage Compliance and accurate documentation by ensuring all client-facing hours, records, and care plans are accurately documented and billed in line with NDIS requirements.
- Respond flexibly and decisively to urgent scheduling, rostering or participant needs, demonstrating leadership and care in real time.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Qualifications: Certificate IV or higher in Disability, Community Services, or Leadership/Management, or equivalent experience in a disability support setting.
- Proven Leadership: 2+ Experience leading and developing teams, with a strong track record of mentoring, coaching, and fostering a positive, values-driven culture.
- Person-Centered Expertise: 5+ years Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, person-centered support, including experience with NDIS plans and complex care needs.
- Collaborative & Strategic: Experience working with leadership teams and stakeholders, including Finance, HR, and external partner to drive operational excellence and service growth.
- The Right to Work in Australia
- All Relevant and Mandatory Checks (NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Children Check, all required NDIS Commision Training Modules, First Aid and CPR and any other required certifications).
- Full Driving License and Comprehensive Car Insurance
