Job Description: Bar Staff Part-time

Bluetrain, located at 3 Southgate Avenue, Southbank, City of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, is a vibrant and bustling restaurant and bar renowned for its exceptional hospitality and top-notch service. As Front of house, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic time while enjoying our delicious food and beverage offerings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests to the venue with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers, following our high-quality standards.
- Running a section in the restaurant
- Engage with guests, take their orders accurately, and recommend suitable beverage options based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar by restocking supplies, arranging bottles, and ensuring cleanliness of glassware.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks to guests.
- Follow all safety guidelines and adhere to responsible alcohol service practices.
- Handle cash, process payments, and maintain accurate cash balances at the end of each shift.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a bartender/Waiter or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in mixing drinks and knowledge of beverage recipes & Table service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of guests.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in orders and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtain one before commencing employment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required for a casual position.

Salary and Benefits:
As a front of house member, you will be paid according to the industry award rate, with additional penalties for working on weekends and public holidays. **Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 38 per week
