This management role takes lead ownership in the design, development and delivery of our various sustainability and modern slavery strategies. The role works across the supply market and our procurement teams to identify, develop and provide short and long-term CSR solutions aligned with company and client strategies.

**The Role**
- Represent Foodbuy as the lead SME in our commitments, strategies and actions in relation to supply chain sustainability and the co-ordination of all our activities and publications
- Lead the design and development of a multi-year sustainable supply chain strategy reflecting the key initiatives, commitments, targets and programs aligned to both Compass Group Australia and Foodbuy clients’ visions and requirements
- Work in partnership across Foodbuy and with our procurement team and supply partners to understand and provide incremental support to existing goals, targets and initiatives alongside the design and acceptance of additional goals/programs in support of our client requirements
- Develop relationships with peer group SME’s across both our Foodbuy Supply Partners and broader industry partners, to explore, share, understand and develop new sources of sustainable supply chains and innovative solutions for our clients
- Represent Foodbuy as our lead SME in our commitments, strategies and actions in relation to supply chain modern slavery including our Global Human Rights Working Group and similar forums.
- Support the communication and awareness of our policy, standards and required processes through our multi-tiered domestic and international supply base including contractual requirements, Sedex registration and formal auditing activities
- Lead and develop the processes that seek to identify potential for Modern Slavery in the supply chain alongside the investigations, response and actions aligned to our global policies and standards as required

**The Person**
- Tertiary education is essential, qualifications in sustainability are an advantage
- Procurement and supply chain experience
- Proven and pragmatic advocate with passion for supply chain sustainability in commercial environments
- Excellent organisation skills
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with senior business stakeholders
- Industry accreditations / additional training in sustainability / CIPS or IFPSM or AAPCM qualification or equivalent (desired but not required)
