- UGL Defence was recently awarded an Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels Network. We are recruiting for Fuel Supply Planners to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
**The Role**
The Fuel Scheduler/Supply Planner, reporting to our Fuel Operations Manager, will join a team of planners, based at UGL’s new Defence Hub in North Sydney. This role will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Responsible for delivery in-full on-time (DIFOT) to fuel installations across their region.
- Manage supply operations within 0-4-month time horizon coordinating; forecasting process, proactive supply chain management, surge requirements and issuing supply notices
- Source quotations for overseas requirements, assess quotes and provide a recommendation on sourcing options.
- Work closely with fuel supplier to create, maintain and optimise supply
- Manage stock progression worksheets and monitor quality specs
**On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business/Commerce or significant industry experience
- Extensive experience in fuel supply chain operations and logistics in APAC with supply, scheduling, or trading experience
- Experience in quality demand forecasting and management of fuel with an understanding of product quality specifications and assurance procedures
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain relevant security clearance
