Exciting opportunity to join the second largest municipality in Melbourne’s metropolitan west. Located about 20 kms from the central business district, Brimbank City Council is culturally diverse.
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Communications and Engagement Administration Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time (21.6 hours per week) basis to join our supportive and passionate team based at our offices in **Sunshine, Victoria**. Flexibility is available. Hybrid working arrangements are currently in place.
**The role**
Reporting to the Manager Communications and Community Engagement, the Administration Assistant will provide efficient and effective day-to-day administration support to the Communications and Community Engagement department.
**About you**
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- experience in an administrative role with high level administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise daily work to manage competing priorities and complete set tasks
- Experience working effectively in a team environment and individually with limited supervision
In accordance with our COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy, this role requires you to have received a third/booster vaccination or have an authorised medical exemption before commencing employment with us.
