Position in context Dolly’s Dream was set up in memory of Dolly Everett, aged 14, who took her own life after an extended period of bullying and cyber bullying. Dolly left behind her parents Tick and Kate and her sister Meg, who are now focused on using the funds that have been kindly donated by the community to help prevent other families from going through the same devastating experience. The Dolly's Dream Fundraising Coordinator is a multifaceted role within Dolly’s Dream, responsible for the effective delivery of our Community Fundraising program, while delivering exceptional care and support to our supporters, donors, volunteers, and board members. The role is also central to the success of the Do It For Dolly Day campaign in May, ensuring an exceptional end-to end experience for all supporters who engage with the campaign. This role is formally based in South Melbourne. We support our staff to work flexibly, both in location and hours, based on the premise that work will remain the focus of any arrangement. How and where you work is discussed with each staff member based on individual circumstances, role requirements and accountability for delivery of high-quality work. Major job responsibilities - As the first touchpoint for donors and community fundraisers, you will manage multiple inboxes and incoming calls responding to queries, donations, complaints; and coordinate all related correspondence, including thank you letters, fundraising event enquiries and receipts. - Support the processing and reconciliation donations and other payment/transactions across multiple platforms. - Develop and execute the annual community fundraising plan (including critical contributions to Do It For Dolly Day), working with the broader fundraising team to set goals and drive engagement. - Optimise online fundraising platforms (including Funraisin), developing effective content at every touchpoint to align supporter interactions with Dollys Dream strategic communications and fundraising objectives and goals. - Design and execute comprehensive donor and supporter journeys that integrate both online and offline experiences, ensuring alignment with Dolly’s Dream’s broader fundraising goals and improving supporter retention year on year. - Maintain regular, personalised contact with supporters, providing guidance and resources throughout their journey to help them plan, execute, and promote their initiatives while ensuring they feel valued. - Ensure the smooth operation and reconciliation of all digital platforms, including peer-to-peer fundraising tools, CRM (Raiser’s Edge), and payment gateways, addressing any technical issues promptly. - Maintain accurate records and monitor trends and data across platforms to report on the success of fundraising initiatives, providing insights to support campaign evaluation and offering recommendations for improvement.Data cleaning and maintenance. **Collaboration and Organisational Contribution** - Support the coordination of the Dolly’s Dream Advisory Board meetings, managing scheduling and logistics, preparing minutes, and communication between the Head of Dolly’s Dream and the Board. - Collaborate closely with the AMF Development & Communications (D&C) team, sharing knowledge and ensuring consistency with overall Foundation goals. - Work with your people leader to develop and execute a personal work plan aligned with the Foundation’s strategic objectives. - Contribute positively to the Foundation’s culture of "We are stronger together", maintaining strong relationships with colleagues.Undertake other tasks as directed by the Head of Dolly’s Dream, Fundraising Campaigns Manager, CEO, and Executive Team.
