Within the Australian market, the JLL Project & Development Services team provide development management, project planning, feasibility, procurement, design and construction management services to a premium client base across the commercial, retail, hotel, government, defence and industrial property sectors.

**What this opportunity involves**:
**Objective**:
The HSEQ Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Head of HSEQ to meet the HSEQ systems management requirements of Project and Development Services division including the continual improvement of monthly management reports, site safety documentation, training and communication of HSEQ administration.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Assist with HSEQ systems management
Maintain the Internal Audit schedule
Coordinate Internal Audits on projects and procedure documentation
Conduct, collect and analyse surveys to evaluate effectiveness of the systems
Assist with the development of HSEQ procedures and reviews
Maintain the HSEQ monthly reporting process
Assist with HSEQ training
Keep abreast of legislative changes and provide updates monthly to all States
Assist staff to utilise the SharePoint communities
Assist with the Annual Safety Week activities
Assist with communication of the HSEQ management system
Communicate nationally industry safety alerts, JLL Lessons learnt from investigated incidents, improvements to PDS procedures, including innovation
Assist with training and development of HSEQ courses
Provide coaching and mentoring to staff on all HSEQ systems
**Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Demonstrated skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels
Demonstrated ability to transfer HSEQ knowledge to PDS staff and provide effective training, coaching and mentoring
Capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion and exercise sound judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to provide effective presentations
Demonstrated strong communication, consultation and facilitation skills
Understanding of and commitment to the principles of HSEQ, EEO and ethical practice
Working knowledge of AS/NZ Standards related to HSE
Experience working with construction site-based staff and managers (but not essential)
Certificate IV in Health and Safety or greater
