For our Support Office located at Sydney International Airport we are looking for a Workforce Planning Manager.The Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Workforce Planning Team to ensure the business is provided with short and long term planning and intra-day management of service levels. The output will consist of development of the workforce planning team, streamlining workforce management systems and processes, building on analytics, modelling and strategic function, guidance of the workforce planning function to ensure a positive workplace culture that enables team members to perform their best.

Your new job includes
- Drive the workforce planning function, to promote and support best workplace culture with an optimised workforce.
- Create and implement models and strategies to ensure the organization has the right number of employees with the right skills at the right time.
- Generating workforce analytics, modelling and strategy function to ensure the business is informed with workforce decisions.
- Examine workforce data to identify trends, predict future staffing needs, and address potential gaps.
- Partner with People & Culture and operational business leaders to understand talent needs and provide recommendations for optimizing workforce productivity and cost efficiencies.
- Ensure Time an Attendance system has the correct pay rules in line with Enterprise Agreement interpretation.
- Manage day-to-day operations related to staffing and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of human resources.
- Accurate maintenance of rosters and database.

What you should bring along
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in workforce planning in a retail environment
- Have an extensive comprehension of employee relations and interpreting retail employment legislation and Enterprise Agreements
- Have experience in people leadership
- Strong ability to build relationships within the business and manage and influence stakeholders effectively
- Experience working with and managing time and attendance software e.g. Time2Work, Kronos.
- Experience in producing and developing reports and analysing data within a retail environment
- Friendly and professional communication, interpersonal and customer focused
- Ability to work without supervision, meet deadlines and organise daily tasks
- Strong administrative computer skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong time management skills, being able to multi-task and prioritise workload
