**What You Will Be Doing**

This role will be responsible for raising understanding and skill in MARAM practice with Adults Using Family Violence to build leadership capability in coordinating risk assessment and risk management. This includes strengthening direct practice, indirect practice, and pathways across services for professionals to share information, consult, collaborate and coordinate for positive outcomes for all clients. This role may also utilise the expertise of the incumbent to provide family violence specific supervision and other project related activities in line with the breadth of family violence services offered by Peninsula Health.

The position is closely aligned to a new Serious Risk Pilot called Changing Ways that is auspice by Family Safety Victoria.

**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:

- Tertiary Qualification in Social Work/Psychology/Social Science or related fields
- Qualifications must align with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Practitioner (Recommendation 209)
- Experience in related fields across the Family Violence Sector, particularly with men
- Demonstrable risk management and safety planning skills and a familiarity with MARAM
- Familiarity with the key underpinning legislation including the Privacy Act, Health Records Act, Children, Youth and Family Act, Family Violence Act
- Demonstrated knowledge of No to Violence principles, standards and practice
- High level verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in all professional relationships
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice
- Demonstrated flexibility and capability to work effectively in a changing environment
- Current Victorian drivers licence, Working with Children Check and a satisfactory police check
- Computer skills - excellent working knowledge of Microsoft platforms
