**About the Role**:
Are you ready to advance your HR career and make a real impact? Diona (part of SRG Global) seeks a passionate and driven Human Resources Business Partner for a **6-8 month contract role covering parental leave. **This position will be based in Brisbane city location with a hybrid work arrangement.

As an experienced trusted advisor and partner, you will demonstrate a hands-on approach to HR management, effectively navigating challenges and adapting to changing circumstances. This role will focus on managing daily HR operations while ensuring the professional growth of team members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with managers and employees across all levels. Promote a culture of open communication and trust, ensuring that HR is seen as a valuable partner in driving business objectives.
- **Subject Matter Expert**:Advise on all HR, Employment, and Industrial Relations (ER/IR) matters, ensuring compliance and best practices. Manage business risk associated with HR policies and practices to support business resilience and growth.
- **Employee Lifecycle Management**:Provide expert advice on key areas including performance reviews, career development, succession planning, and salary reviews.
- **Employee Relations & Compliance**:Support managers in navigating employee relations issues, ensuring a low-risk approach and alignment with legal requirements.
- **Culture Champion**:Lead by example, driving Diona’s values and fostering a positive work environment.
- **Leadership & Mentorship**:Manage and mentor the current HR team, offering guidance and support to develop their skills and performance.
- **Health & Safety Leadership**:Be a safety leader, promoting best practices in workplace health and safety.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Experience working in a similar role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business Management.
- Extensive experience in HR management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Proven track record in leading HR initiatives and driving employee engagement.
- Experience within the mining, Engineering, or construction industry. (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to remain agile and responsive while effectively managing conflicting priorities.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish rewarding and productive partnerships.
- Excellent computer and software skills; Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, requiring tact and patience in seeking information.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites as needed.
