At our Queensland, Lytton - Distribution Centre we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of a 3PL and Kmart team to safely deliver and maximize productivity, quality, the team performance and process improvement.

**What you’ll be doing**

As the DC Team Manager you will be responsible for the following;
- Ensure site safety for everyone, every day by; implementing and evaluating safe work practices, adhering to OH&S requirements, improving safety performance, actioning identified hazards and investigating incidents
- Be accountable for performance across the Receiving, Order Selection, Flow/XDS, Dispatch, Operations Planning and Inbound Freight
- managing resources, daily capacity planning, service levels & KPIs and continuous improvement strategies.
- Drive a positive, open and honest culture with a focus on safety, whilst promoting collaborative ways of working cross functionally and developing and training your team to deliver high performance
- You will also implement Lean principles and company policies and procedures

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Experience as a manager with a Supply Chain, Logistics, Transport Warehousing or Retail background coupled with a sound knowledge of supply chain operations and systems
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, coach and develop a large team
- Possess a strong background and commitment to safety and knowledge in OH&S requirements so that you can effectively champion the Kmart values and role model behaviors
- Warehouse Management System knowledge & experience
