Product and Sales Support Assistant

About the Client

Our client is a renowned Australian fashion business they are an industry leader in delivering high-quality garments at competitive prices to our diverse customer base. They work with multiple retailers within the Australian and New Zealand fashion industry designing and producing fashion garments exclusively to their customers' needs. With a team of innovative individuals, they provide a tailored end-to-end service from product sourcing, development, production, and delivery.

Career Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join as their Sales and Product Support Assistant working with the Senior Account Manager to manage all aspects of your accounts, including growing the accounts and finding more business opportunities. They are looking for an all-rounder to join our fun, dynamic and expanding team. You will be working with the sales, design, and production team as well as liaising with offshore suppliers & customers.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Liaising with the customer and providing a high level of customer service to ensure all needs are met.
- Build successful relationships with buyers to drive sales and attend regular sales meetings internally and with customers to establish forward business, new opportunities and manage current business.
- Assisting Senior Account Manager in all facets of Sales & Product
- Preparing CADS & storyboards for customers
- Checking and preparing lab dips and prints for approval
- Assisting where required on creation of costing boards

**Skills & Experience**:

- At least 2-3 years' experience in the fashion industry or relevant tertiary qualifications, including work experience
- Strong fabric knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- 'Can-do' attitude with follow through to complete jobs
- Deadline driven
- Team player in a collaborative environment
- Microsoft Excel & Adobe Suite skills (especially Illustrator)
