The Opportunity
We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Merchandising Assistant to join our team.
This role will report directly to the Merchandising & Marketing Director, to support the team within merchandising and logistics functions to maximise revenue and stock turn performance and build the brand profile in Australia.
Key Accountabilities
Inventory Management
Manage the creation of all product records/master files, product codes and SKUs
Product maintenance including price lists
Order management, allocations and replenishments
Arrange stock consolidation on a regular basis to fully utilize the stock
Manage all the allocation and delivery of uniforms
Assist all stocks takes and make necessary adjustments and issue reports
Update and maintain inventory database and assist stores with POS queries and technical support
Support stores with stock receivals
Logistics
Oversee prioritisation of deliveries into the warehouse and stores to ensure an efficient supply pipeline
Create packing lists for warehouse to pick, pack and label product for stores
Planning & Forecasting
Assist Merchandiser in collation of all reports and forecasts
Assist in the development of promotion plans to drive sales in poor performing categories
Maintain competitor pricing and trends – including international markets
Collecting collection feedback from stores
Ad hoc reports to assist in analysing size/class/collection performance
Assist in preparing and store end of month, end of season and end of financial year reports
Retail Support & Brand Manager Support
Visual Merchandising: Ensuring VM is meeting product & performance needs
Assist with general store enquiries
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel (Index, match, vlookup, sumifs..))
Previous experience with Retail Express beneficial
