A leading Australian based Microsoft Gold Partner is currently seeking a Cloud Practice Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Location can be remote (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane).

The cloud practice is a major growth engine for this business. It focuses on strategic challenges enterprise clients face around accelerating and optimizing cloud modernisation.

The role will lead key pillars of the practice: people leadership, practice growth & partnerships, customers and competency development

**Responsibilities**:

- Leads the team in pre & post-sales, development of proposals, approaches, solution architectures, Commercials (SOW's) leading client briefings and workshops.
- Develop bespoke solutions and go to market offerings, including solutions on the Microsoft Azure marketplace
- Nurture and maintain strategic relationships with our Microsoft account team, partner team, and Azure SME's
- Own implementation of the strategic plan to grow the Cloud practice
- Lead practice Team Leaders to ensure delivery of people related activities
- Facilitate scoping workshops with customers and internal teams
- Where required, provide technical governance on existing customer accounts to ensure successful delivery of agreed project scope and outcomes
- Assess and recommend tools, both Azure native and third-party to be used during the cloud platform lifecycle

Key Skills / Experience:

- 8+ years demonstrated people and business leadership experience with measurable results in a consultancy or professional services firm and experience leading technologists
- Advanced level of experience leading and selling cloud transformation / migrations to the Azure, either on the vendor or client side
- Successful leadership track record of developing and growing long term, high value client relationships including managing senior stakeholders
- Previous pre-sales experience selling complex, multi layered Azure solutions
- Experience developing bespoke Azure offerings and associated go to market plans, familiarity with Microsoft Partner Centre and Azure marketplace
- Architecting solutions by mapping client business problems and mapping end-to-end technology solutions with associated strategies, roadmaps and designs
- Expert level; Microsoft Azure platform
- Design and deployment of Azure-based cloud and hybrid cloud IaaS
