**About the centre**

The South Gippsland SPLASH boasts a 25 indoor pool, learn to swim pool and multicourt stadium. The centre delivers a range of programs and services meeting the needs of the local community, keeping people active and connected. The contract also manages 4 seasonal outdoor pools in Korumburra, Foster, Mirboo North and Poowong.

**About the role**

South Gippsland SPLASH is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Operations Coordinator. You will be part of a team that delivers excellence in recreation and have aquatic experience to assist the community across one indoor all year round aquatic facilitiy (SG SPLASH) and four seasonal outdoor pool facilities throughout South Gippsland.

As the Operations Coordinator, you will manage and lead a team of Pool Lifeguards and Duty Managers staff to ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets and exceeds the required standards. You will lead, inspire, and motivate teams through clear and achievable team goals and ensure high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures.

As the Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing plant room operations
- Maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
- Managing the Lifeguard and Duty Managing teams including onboarding, rostering and other HR items.
- Ensuring compliance with industry operating standards

This is a full-time position, and the salary for this role starts at $60,803 per annum + Super.

Working hours are based on a flexible rotating roster that provides leadership to teams across the full hours of operation.

As a key part of the leadership team, you will be organised, have strong communication skills, thrive in a team and have the ability to work autonomously.

A

**Essential Qualifications**
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Skill Set

**Other Desired experience**
- 12 months’ leadership experience
- Relevant diploma; or approved equivalent
- Sport and Recreation and / or Facility Operations experience.
