**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Fixed Term Full Time until 11 April 2026
- $92,535 per annum + 11.5% superannuation
- Flexible working arrangements available

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who is interested in a position providing front line planning support to the South Gippsland community.

A great opportunity exists within our Planning and Building Services Department for a customer focussed professional to act as the primary contact for customer planning enquiries. This role provides leadership to administrative staff and holds a key role in the Better Approvals Program to support South Gippsland businesses. It also provides a high standard of service delivery in the entire range of planning services and provides support to the wider department.

**ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful, you will have:

- A tertiary degree in Town and/or Regional Planning or similar
- Experience in a Customer Service or similar role
- High level communication skills
- Ability to supervise and coordinate staff
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of the Victoria Planning System
- Appreciation and understanding of the development issues affecting South Gippsland Shire
