**About the Role**:
Due to the expansion of business in Australia, we are excited to add on a second Clinical Specialist to our team of high achievers in sales. The role will be based in Victoria and will provide clinical training and support to various groups such as Sales Representatives, Tech Teams, Merit employees, Cath lab, Radiology staff, and physicians on the total Merit portfolio. This role will include interstate travel as part of the position.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide clinical training, product troubleshooting and support to various groups
- Work alongside Sales Representatives to support the clinical use of Merit Medical products and troubleshoot product related issues
- Establish relationships and build confidence among lab staff, physicians, Sales Representatives, and customers
- Assist with determining events/incidents that require notification to regulatory authorities
- Provide information on new technologies, procedures and changes in the medical device industry
**Summary of min requirements**:
- Education and/or business experience equivalent to a related Bachelor's Degree.
- Hands-on medical experience
- Education and clinical experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse, Certified Cardiovascular, Intervention Radiology or similar
- Product training experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyse feedback in a training environment to develop strategies to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate large programs
- Ability to travel interstate to support cases
